lets do something to gain Respect

Hi Everyone,

As we all know it is mandatory that only a Pharmacist cab sell and dispense medicines but unluckily this law is not completely followed. Moreover a lot of medicines are not of standard quality or you can say adulterated or misbranded. Corruption in our country is a very deep level and is accepted by us to an extent. To fight with this devil we need to unite and to help Pharmacy profession we should ensure that a Pharmacist is present at Pharmacy. It is very difficult task to achieve but to start we can educate public about Pharmacy and importance of Pharmacists in them. In brief we can tell everyone always ask a receipt on purchasing medicine and insist to know the registered Pharmacist present at Pharmacy. Teachers can do this job in better way convey to all the students "NEVER PURCHASE MEDICINES WITHOUT RECEIPT" also ask students to convey this message to everyone they meet and we need to repeat this as this can eliminate a majority of fake medicines.
This is my view how a little things can help. I expect other members can give different practical and applicable suggestions regarding this. It is very easy to blame government for not implementing the law but we are also a part of govt. and lets start doing something rather saying only only then Govt will be bound to take actions and public will give respect to Pharmacists.

IN KARNATAKA THERE IS ONE ASSOCIATION KNOWN AS ASSOCIATION OF ******** TEACHERS OF INDIA (A*TI). BUT IN PHARMACY PROFESSION THE ASSOCIATION MADE LOTS OF MEMBERS AND COLLECTED LOTS OF MONEY FOR SPENDING FOR THE BENEFIT OF TEACHERS. DAY BY DAY THE ASSOCIATION IS RAISING ITS HEAD COUNT.

DOUBTS ON A*TI

1. WHY THE NAME - ALL INDIA ******** TEACHERS ASSOCIATION IF THE ASSOCIATION IS NOT FOR THE BENEFIT OF PHARMACY TEACHERS?

2. WHAT THE ASSOCIATION HAS DONE REGARDING 6TH PAY IMPLEMENTATION? 6TH PAY IS NOT FOR PHARMACY TEACHERS OR WHAT

3. IS THE ASSOCIATION PRESSURIZED PRIVATE PHARMACY COLLEGE MANAGEMENT TRUSTS TO IMPLEMENT 6TH PAY AFTER OFFICIAL AICTE 6TH PAY GAZETTE?

4. IF THE ORGANISATION CAN’T THINK ABOUT THE SOCIETY THEN WHAT IS THE MOTTO/ GOAL OF THE ASSOCIATION?

5. ONE OF THE BEST REASON FOR AICTE 6TH PAY IMPLEMENTATION IS TO ENCOURAGE RESEARCH. IF A**I MOTTO IS PROMOTING RESEARCH IN PHARMACEUTICAL FIELD, THEN WHY IT IS NOT SUPPORTING 6TH PAY? WHY IT IS NOT ENCORAGING PHARMACY TEACHRS GO FOR NATIONAL LEVEL PROTEST? WHY IT IS NOT TAKING LEADERSHIP?

6. IS A**I DONE ANYTIME OTHER THAN SELF AWARDS TO SENIOR BIG SHOTS/ CONFERENCES/ JOURNAL MANAGING? ONLY DOING THIS WILL HELP PHARMACY TEACHERS?

7. WHAT ACTION IT IS TAKEN TOWARDS THE BENEFIT OF PHARMACY TEACHERS IN SOCIETY?

8. IS THE A**I ANY TIME TAKEN SELF MOTIVATION TO ERADICATE DUMMY TEACHING FACULTY SYSTEM IN PHARMACY COLLEGES?

9. AS AN ASSOCIATION IS IT NECESSARY TO FILE COMPLAINT BY TEACHER REGARDING DUMMY STAFFS MAINTANANCE IN PHARMACY COLLEGES? WHETHER THE ASSOCIATION DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT SERIOUSNESS OF SUCH DUMMY FACULTY MAINTAINANCE? IF IT CONTINUES TOMORROW; WITHOUT TEACHER ALSO CAN RUN COLLEGE TEACHER RITE? DUMMY FACULTY SYSTEM DECLINES THE SCOPE FOR PHARMACY PROFESSIONALS RITE?
